Marie Phelan is an Irish artist using digital media, site-based engagement, works on paper, and performative action to explore material boundaries that reflect how we exist in the world today. Recent works include a land based film screening in South County Carlow (2025); performative collaboration RHA Gallery, Dublin (2024), Lab Gallery, Dublin (2024); and site-specific sonic activations in the landscape (2020-2023). Her work has also been exhibited in traditional gallery settings. Marie was awarded the 2023 Digital Practice Award by Fire Station Artist Studios, Dublin. Her work has been supported by the Arts Council Ireland, Artlinks, and Carlow Arts Service. She holds an MA in Art and Research Collaboration through IADT.
